Day 2: Our impeachment managers showed the truth, and some Rs thought it was all Hell. (H/T Harry Truman) Their karma is catching up with them. Not just doing evil, but teaching tens of millions of others that doing evil is purest patriotism, and the work of God.
And there is more truth where that came from. We'll hear some of it tomorrow. But I am not here today to go over the gory details, nor to praise the performance of the remarkably diverse and skillful House manager team. It's all in various archives, and will soon be the subject of never-ending streams of books and videos.
The Good News remains that Rs are firmly in the minority, and shrinking, no matter how much they shriek about it and try to foment the Second Civil War, which will turn out worse than the first for their entitlements.
Mine eyes have seen the glory
of the coming of the Lord.
He has trampled out the vintage
where the grapes of wrath are stored.
He has loosed the fateful lightning
of his terrible swift sword.
His truth is marching on.
The rest of us, and millions of their children, don't have to have any.
If you have any sense, you will not pour yourself a cup of that bitter wine, and you certainly won't try to flog it off onto others.
But we are dealing with people who plainly have less than no sense. Especially those who think that they can ignore their karma, and teach others to do the same.
