Many in govt. take an oath to “preserve and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic”. Not to overthrow it. Now 11 Oath Keeper leaders have been charged with seditious conspiracy. Not just 17 foot soldiers in the Capitol in two "stacks" on 1/6.

Numerically, the Oathkeepers, the Proud boys, and the III%ers amount to some tens of thousands of members, but with tens of millions of supporters who believe that we have a government of race traitors and Soshulists, and that the Amerikkka they knew and loved is being destroyed by the Libruls and the Woke.
Doom&Gloomers worry that the 1/6 insurrection was practice for next time, when they will be better prepared. The evidence before our eyes, however, is that intelligence services, police forces, the National Guards in various states, Congress, and DoD are all far more awake to the danger, and learned a great deal tactically and strategically from 1/6, so that such a future assault has 0 chance of succeeding. Nobody is going to brush off early warnings of another such plan again. Well, nobody who isn’t in on it. But they are increasingly outing themselves, and getting themselves thrown out of various services and various positions of authority.
Not enough of them, of course, especially not the seditionists in Congress, which can’t muster the two-thirds majorities to throw the bums out. But there are various other sanctions available that can be imposed by a majority vote when the 1/6 Special Committee and other probes come to their conclusions and make their recommendations.
