The greatness of the US was in the literally Revolutionary program of waking the world up to equality. But the MAGAt answer is only Moar White Supremacism Moar. Nowhere do we see moar of this today than in Florida. I am well aware of the stiffness of the competition, and I review a bit of it below.
Florida state senator says DeSantis' new bill is just 'anti-woke legislation'
Oh, you think so? Then try this.
Florida doubles down on anti-critical race theory legislation
Gov. Ron DeSantis has been outspoken against critical race theory.
WILDWOOD, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the Stop the Wrongs to Our Kids and Employees (W.O.K.E.) Act, a legislative proposal that will give businesses, employees, children and families tools to fight back against woke indoctrination. The Stop W.O.K.E. Act will be the strongest legislation of its kind in the nation and will take on both corporate wokeness and Critical Race Theory. Today’s proposal builds on actions Governor DeSantis has already taken to ban Critical Race Theory and the New York Times’ 1619 project in Florida’s schools. For more information about the Stop W.O.K.E. Act, click here.
“In Florida we are taking a stand against the state-sanctioned racism that is critical race theory,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “We won’t allow Florida tax dollars to be spent teaching kids to hate our country or to hate each other. We also have a responsibility to ensure that parents have the means to vindicate their rights when it comes to enforcing state standards. Finally, we must protect Florida workers against the hostile work environment that is created when large corporations force their employees to endure CRT-inspired ‘training’ and indoctrination.”

Vanity Fair: Florida Advances Bill That Would Ban Making White People Feel Bad About Racism, and No, That’s Not a Joke
Quick question for the group: Despite constantly claiming liberals are easily “triggered”“snowflakes,” are Republicans actually the most ridiculously sensitive people on earth? So much so that they can’t stand the idea of factually accurate conversations about race in this country that might paint white people in an uncomfortable light?
TL;DR Yes. No, no, sorry, my bad, that’s
Hell, yes.
Or, in the words of its author,
The bill, sponsored by State Senator Manny Diaz Jr., reads, in part, “An individual, by virtue of his or her race or sex, does not bear responsibility for actions committed in the past by other members of the same race or sex. An individual should not be made to feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress on account of his or her race.”
WaPo (paywalled): The rise of the snowflake conservative
Now, let us imagine this bill taking effect, and every principled lawyer and judge in FL suing because they are thus not allowed to discuss the Constitution and the law in law schools, law offices, and courts of law.
And then imagine the class action lawsuit by every victim of racism ever against all of the racists calling them lazy and stupid and worse.
The Competition
We don’t have room for everybody, so these are just short notes.

Vanity Fair again:
Incidentally, the Florida bill’s approval by the state’s Senate Education Committee comes the same month that Indiana held a hearing about its proposed Senate Bill 167, which would ban“divisive concepts” in classrooms,

Texas “critical race theory” bill limiting teaching of current events signed into law
Texas is one of a handful of states that have approved legislation that prescribes how teachers discuss current events and prohibits students from receiving credit for participating in civic activities.
Tennessee
Tennessee school board just banned Pulitzer Prize graphic novel MAUS from Holocaust curriculum
First reported on by TN Holler, the outlet reports that the board told them this didn’t have to do with the book being about the Holocaust.
But it does. Not unlike the Tennessee school board that voted to fire Sullivan County school teacher and baseball coach Matthew Hawn for assigning an opinion piece on white privilege by Ta-Nehisi Coates back in June, this latest move has to do with the discomfort some (white) parents feel in educators using the truth to talk about difficult aspects of human history.
Wait, I’m Sorry
I have to stop now. There is way too much of this.
But feel free to add any contenders in the comments.
