Normal political progress runs at about 1% a year, to get from any new idea to a 50%+1 majority. We are at 60-90% majorities on all of the major issues. The dam is breaking, the tipping point is toppling, and everything is trying to happen at once.
We are held up only by gerrymanders and the filibuster, and we know the cure for those.

The Warnock-Walker runoff comes to a head today, with general agreement that Warnock only needs already-committed voters to show up, and turned-off Republicans to sit on their hands and not go stand in tomorrow’s expected rain to vote. I think Herschel Walker will go down as one of the worst Republican candidates in our party’s history.
