Wrong-Wingers are pulling out all of the stops against ballot drop boxes and mail-in ballots and much more, alleging that they are all means for Democrats to rig elections. They are failing to build an actual campaign, while claiming that they will have 100,000 volunteer poll watchers. Then when they lose bigly, or indeed even beforehand, they are going to claim that the November elections were rigged, and fire off lawsuits and calls for insurrection in all directions.
Don’t worry, we’re on all of it. Nevertheless, we all know to buckle up and buckle in and buckle down and don’t buckle under pressure, and so on.
Marc Elias Says Extremist Republicans Have Intricate Plans to Disrupt the 2024 Elections!
Attorney Elias succinctly sums up the planned attacks on our Democracy in an article he recently wrote in Democracy Docket:
In its short time, the new RNC voter suppression team has sued several states to undermine free and fair elections and plans to deploy 100,000 volunteers and operatives to oversee the vote casting and counting process. The team will partner with right-wing voter suppression groups that are suing to purge voters and harass and intimidate election officials.
Lara Trump has insisted that as a part of its voter suppression efforts, the RNC is recruiting people who can “physically handle the ballots.” While it is possible that the former failed singer is simply clueless, it is also possible that the RNC plans on infiltrating election offices. We need to be prepared for the worst.

Sunday show hosts keep asking Republicans if they'll accept the election results, and their answers indicate they won't unless Trump wins. It's just not a sustainable situation for democracy.
